The North Carolina Association of REALTORS® recently received approval from the North Carolina Department of the Secretary of State for its assumed name or DBA – NC REALTORS®. Rooted in a strategy to better align the association in the real estate industry and with its members and consumers, the new brand identify, including the name and modified logo, will be primarily used to market to its members, consumers, partners, and the public.
The updated image reflects the association’s vision to be more modern and relatable. People buy from people, and NC REALTORS® aspires for its members, partners, and staff to be viewed as people by consumers and the public. The revised logo is a simple, contemporary version with modern fonts, updated colors, and a more consumer-friendly, compact shape. It reflects NC REALTORS®’ stability and legacy as an association that is 35,000 members strong, and it solidifies its role within the community and industry.
“A key part of the association’s strategy going forward is to elevate the brand and reputation of North Carolina REALTORS®,” commented Andrea Bushnell, Esq., CEO of NC REALTORS®. “By positioning our members as the experts in the real estate industry, coupled with a brand that’s approachable and consumer-friendly, our REALTORS® will succeed, and their clients – consumers – will achieve their real estate goals. It’s a win-win.”
The primary logo color palette of red and blue color groups were confirmed during the brand discovery process, as they reflect powerful attributes NC REALTORS® and REALTORS® embody, such as energy, passion, and strength (red) and stability, intelligence, and trust (blue) – all of which support NC REALTORS®’ mission and role to be the voice of real estate in North Carolina.
