ABC’s of Financing

(4 Hours Elective CE)

This course will give you a strong knowledge and familiarity with the most current financing options available in the marketplace, as well as down payment options to help home buyers.  You’ll also learn about the most recent changes in the mortgage industry affecting your customer’s ability to get approved and the latest changes to the closing process.

  • Learn about down payment programs open to move—up buyers AND 1st-time home buyers
  • Hear about the recent CFPB mandated changes to the loan closing process that could impact your real estate closings
  • Learn about renovation loans, energy-efficient loans, and 203(k) loans

Designations

Earning one or more designations continues to make a difference in REALTOR® earnings. Based on survey data collected by NAR, the median income of REALTORS® without a designation was $33,500 and the median income of those with at least one designation was $61,100!

NAR and its affiliated Institutes, Societies, and Councils provide a wide range of programs and services that assist members in increasing skills, proficiency, and knowledge. Designations and certifications acknowledging experience and expertise in various real estate sectors are awarded by NAR and each affiliated group upon completion of required courses.

Option 3: Transaction Credit: $20 per transaction
1 transaction = 2 hours of elective credit. Students can use up to 6 transactions for elective credit totaling 12 hours.

Students must submit a Transaction Completion form for EACH transaction. If completing multiple transaction forms, all of them may be submitted at once with total amount due.

Option 4: GRI Credit
Completed courses from the 90-hour GRI program (2012-2013)

Previous GRI course credits will be matched hour for hour in the new curriculum; they will count as either core or elective credits depending on the class.


Option 5: NC REALTORS® Conference & Expo
Attend NC REALTORS® Annual Conference & Expo while enrolled in GRI program and earn 4 hours of elective GRI credit.

Learn to apply the Code of Ethics to real life decisions, problems, and challenging situations that confront REALTORS® in daily practice.
