Agency in Action takes a practical look at how agency relationships work in the real world\, from exclusive representation to dual and designated dual agency. \nThrough real scenarios and everyday brokerage situations\, this course explores how to express fiduciary duties such as loyalty\, confidentiality\, disclosure\, and care while staying compliant with North Carolina law and REALTOR® ethics. Beginning as a high school English teacher\, Katherine transitioned to real estate in 2015 and\, shortly thereafter\, briefly joined the North Carolina Real Estate Commission to redesign and deliver the 12-hour Broker-In-Charge course. From there\, Katherine began writing electives for other states while teaching Pre- and Post-licensing classes\, before starting her own school\, That’s My Instructor\, in 2023. Since that time\, she has been teaching virtually\, and crossing the state to bring Updates\, REALTORS’ courses\, and her own exclusive North Carolina Electives to the brokers who need them. Now\, she is excited to bring that expertise back to her first hometown in North Carolina.

DESCRIPTION:AHWD is an NAR certification program designed to present a picture of the changing face of the real estate industry. The At Home with Diversity course addresses the topics of diversity\, fair housing and business planning development. After successfully completing the course\, REALTORS® are eligible to apply for the official AHWD certification\, which conveys to clients they’re working with a dynamic real estate professional with expertise that transcends cultural barriers. AHWD Certification Requirements \n\nBreakfast\, snacks and lunch will be provided. \nThis class provides the following credit: 4 hours of CE\, NAR’s Fair Housing Requirement \nRegistration (No CE): $30\nRegistration (With CE): $50 \n	\n\n\n\n\n	\n	\n				\n		Presented by\n							\n								\n									\n					\n				Tikola McCree\n														\n											\n							\n					Tikola McCree is a dedicated real estate professional with North Group Real Estate in the Greater Charlotte Area and a proud soccer mom to her 16-year-old son. She actively champions fair housing and diversity\, serving as the 2024 Chair of the NC REALTORS® Diversity Committee\, 2025 Vice Chair and 2026 Chair of the NAR Fair Housing Policy Committee\, and President of the Charlotte Crown REALTIST Association (2022-2024).
