She leads NAR’s ACT! Initiative (Accountability\, Culture Change\, and Training) and spearheaded the development of Fairhaven: A Fair Housing Simulation and Bias Override: Overcoming Barriers to Fair Housing. Alexia also oversees NAR’s discrimination self-testing program\, real estate licensure reform efforts\, and initiatives to close racial and ethnic homeownership gaps. As staff executive to NAR’s Fair Housing Policy Committee\, she frequently writes and speaks on fair housing issues. \nPreviously\, she worked in fair housing enforcement at HUD\, for Congressman John Conyers\, Jr.\, and with civil rights nonprofits. A Maryland-licensed attorney\, Alexia holds a J.D. from UC Berkeley\, an MPA from Princeton\, and a B.A. in government from Smith College. She lives in Alexandria\, Virginia.

The At Home with Diversity course addresses the topics of diversity\, fair housing and business planning development. Beginning as a high school English teacher\, Katherine transitioned to real estate in 2015 and\, shortly thereafter\, briefly joined the North Carolina Real Estate Commission to redesign and deliver the 12-hour Broker-In-Charge course. From there\, Katherine began writing electives for other states while teaching Pre- and Post-licensing classes\, before starting her own school\, That’s My Instructor\, in 2023. Since that time\, she has been teaching virtually\, and crossing the state to bring Updates\, REALTORS’ courses\, and her own exclusive North Carolina Electives to the brokers who need them. Now\, she is excited to bring that expertise back to her first hometown in North Carolina.

Ayesha is a full-time practicing broker with Keller Williams Realty in Greensboro\, NC\, leading the local partners of Carolina Expansion Partners group and coaches their agents across North and South Carolina. She’s  been a NAR SPIRE mentor\, served with the High Point Regional Association of REALTORS® and NC REALTORS®. She  graduated from the Central Carolina Leadership academy\, Leadership High Point and from the The William C. Bass Leadership  Academy. Currently\, Ayesha is president of the Women’s council of REALTORS® Carolina Dogwood Network and President-Elect  of NCR Housing Foundation. \nAyesha & Kelly are dog parents to Gannicus The Great who is the goodest boy of all the good boys (just ask him). They’ve been  married for 17 years and are servants with St. Peter’s Church & World Outreach Center in Winston-Salem. \nAyesha is the education director and lead instructor of Edify RE. This education provider offers prelicensing\, post licensing and  continuing education. Education doesn’t have to be boring and with Ayesha\, it’s more of “EduTainment” – we must be here for the  allotted number of hours\, let’s laugh a little bit while we’re together. Let’s face it\, you can read material and be bored at home by  yourself. \nAyesha has a goal of making home ownership attainable for everyone that wants it. She’s passionate about education and  empowerment of individuals and communities.
