ABC’s of Financing (4 hours elective CE credit available)

This course will give you a strong knowledge and familiarity with the most current financing options available in the marketplace, as well as down payment options to help home buyers.  You’ll also learn about the most recent changes in the mortgage industry affecting your customer’s ability to get approved and the latest changes to the closing process.

  • Learn about down payment programs open to move—up buyers AND 1st-time home buyers
  • Hear about the recent CFPB mandated changes to the loan closing process that could impact your real estate closings
  • Learn about renovation loans, energy-efficient loans, and 203(k) loans

Balancing Business Risks & Ethics (4 hours elective CE credit available)

Learn to apply the Code of Ethics to real life decisions, problems, and challenging situations that confront REALTORS® in daily practice.

  • When to involve qualified professionals to avoid unauthorized practice of law
  • Gain knowledge of disclosure and applicable laws in the area of Fair Housing, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Antitrust laws, etc.

Business Planning

Participants will understand the importance of setting goals, putting a business marketing plan in writing, and creating accountability.

  • Clarify your current status in the five critical areas of your life
  • Identify the components of successful business plans
  • Apply standard business principles to the real estate practice
  • Design a business that will financially support your life
