a member of NC REALTORS for 43 years, it is an honor for me to be involved in all aspects of our industry. The position of region 6 Regional Vice President presents an opportunity to serve, and previous skills and knowledge as an NCR Director, a past WSRAR President and Triad MLS chair have provided the experience to effectively communicate, govern and serve our constituency. Representation on the National Association of REALTORS Land Use, Property Rights and Environmental Committee coupled with my decades of service in the local sector with Zoning boards, the Winston Salem Forsyth County Utilities Commission (15 years), and Forsyth County Board of Equalization and Review, adds important perspective. Serving on almost every Winston Salem Regional Association of REALTORS local committees, and on NC REALTORS committees including: NC REALTORS Board of Directors (14 years), NC REALTORS PAC trustee (14 years), Legislative (12 years), Finance and Budget (8 years), NC Homeowners Alliance Board, Bylaws, Forms, Risk Management, Strategic Planning, Governance Task Force, Executive, and RCA Board of Governors (chair) positions me to harness in-depth knowledge of our past and present as we continually explore future opportunities and challenges. I hope to work with all members of the NCR Executive Team toward “Building Bridges that last 100 Years.” In addition, keeping our Region 6 members informed about regional and NCR issues and gathering feedback are of paramount importance to achieving our goals.Region 8 – Aric Beals, GRI
