Shimmer and Shine Raffle Winners and RPAC Updates
NC REALTORS® PAC Trustees Chair Cirila Cothran recently went live on Facebook to share exciting updates on NC REALTORS® PAC progress and announce the winners of the “Shimmer & Shine” Raffle, which raised over $38,845 with more than 1,900 entries.
NC REALTORS® PAC Progress
So far in 2025:
- $656,000 has been raised—55% of the $1.1 million annual goal.
- 175 members have become Major Investors toward a goal of 468.
- 22 members have joined the President’s Circle (goal: 55).
- Over 11,466 members have participated, bringing total participation to 21%. The target is 37%, which requires about 8,700 more members to invest.
Local Highlights
Several local associations hosted successful RPAC fundraising events:
- Canopy REALTOR® Association hosted a sold-out legislative transportation forum.
- Wilson Board of REALTORS® raised over $4,700 with a steak lunch.
- Neuse River Region brought in $8,000 and added eight major investors.
- Gaston Association revived their Pork Butt fundraiser, raising over $2,500.
- Raleigh Regional Association hosted a March event with Kane Realty, drawing 75 members and raising over $8,000.
Upcoming Local Events
RPAC events are scheduled across the state, including raffles, comedy nights, and bourbon tastings in locations such as Jacksonville, Raleigh, Canopy, and Brunswick County. Members can contact their local associations or the NC REALTORS® PAC team for details.
Statewide Initiatives
- New Investor Summer Raffle launches June 23 with $2,500 in prizes.
- Drop & Win Raffle returns for the NC REALTORS® Convention in Cherokee.
- Glow & Flow Yoga will also make a comeback during the convention.
Shimmer & Shine Raffle Results
The highly anticipated raffle included:
- Ten $500 prize winners
- Two $1,000 prize winners
- One $3,000 grand prize winner
All winners were randomly selected through a secure online platform under the supervision of NC REALTORS® CFO Bryan Jenkins.
