January 2026 NC REALTORS® Board of Directors Meeting Recap

At its recent meeting, the NC REALTORS® Board of Directors took action on several key items impacting the association’s future, including selecting the location for the 2027 Convention, recognizing Association Executive scholarship recipients, and reviewing progress on the Strategic Plan.

2027 NC REALTORS® Convention Location Selected

The Board voted to select Hilton Head, South Carolina, as the location for the 2027 NC REALTORS® Convention & Expo, scheduled for October 18–21, 2027 (Monday–Thursday).

This decision followed a comprehensive evaluation process that included recommendations from the Convention of the Future PAG, member survey feedback, and a detailed review of financial and logistical considerations. Staff evaluated multiple venue options with an emphasis on overall value to members and the association, including room rates, total event costs, food and beverage minimums, drivability, and ancillary expenses.

The selected host property, the Hilton Beachfront Resort & Spa, offers a balance of affordability, accessibility, and on-site capacity. The proposed room rate is $249 per night (plus applicable taxes and fees), includes complimentary self-parking, and provides sufficient room inventory to accommodate attendees at a single location.

The Board also recognized recipients of 2026 Association Executive (AE) scholarships, reflecting NC REALTORS®’ continued investment in leadership development and professional growth at the local association level.
