REALTORS® Gather for 2026 Legislative Day in Raleigh
NC REALTORS® members spent June 3 connecting with legislators and participating in Legislative Day as part of the 2026 NC REALTORS® Legislative Meetings.
The day began with a Legislative Rally, where attendees gathered to hear updates and prepare for meetings with elected officials at the North Carolina General Assembly. Members then traveled to the Legislative Building and Legislative Office Building throughout the morning to meet with lawmakers representing communities across the state.
During the visits, REALTORS® had the opportunity to discuss issues affecting real estate, housing, and property ownership while sharing perspectives from their local markets. The meetings also gave members a chance to build relationships with legislators and learn more about the legislative process.
Between appointments, many attendees stopped by the NC REALTORS® Open House at the Heck-Andrews House. The open house provided a convenient place to gather, enjoy lunch and refreshments, and connect with fellow members throughout the day. Members also participated in a volunteer project benefiting the Women’s Center, packing essential items for women experiencing homelessness as part of NC REALTORS® Gives Back and NAR Volunteer Week.
Legislative Day remains a key part of the Legislative Meetings experience, giving members an opportunity to engage with elected officials while connecting with REALTORS® from across North Carolina.
The NC REALTORS® Communications Committee was on hand throughout the day capturing photos, videos, and behind-the-scenes moments from the rally, legislative visits, and open house to share on NC REALTORS® social media channels.
