NC REALTORS® proudly congratulates Claire Aufrance on her historic appointment as Chair of the North Carolina Appraisal Board (NCAB). Elected during the Board’s June 24 meeting, Claire’s term began on July 1, 2025, and will run through June 30, 2026.

A dedicated member of the NC REALTORS® Appraisal Committee and former NCAB Vice Chair, Claire has long been a respected voice in North Carolina’s appraisal community. Her election marks a significant milestone as the first woman to hold the position of Chair in the Board’s history.
