Director of Field Advocacy
NC REALTORS® is seeking a Director of Field Advocacy to join our Government Affairs team. This position oversees the implementation of one of our innovative program to engage members across the state in local advocacy and political fundraising.
Reporting to the Senior VP of External Affairs, this role directs local advocacy strategy for the field team, including the development of annual action plans for each team member and the local associations they serve. You will manage implementation of the Field Advocacy program, including program design, expansion, and evaluation, project development, contract negotiation and renewal, recruitment and hiring, employee evaluation and coaching.
Necessary qualifications for this position include:
Regular travel across the state of North Carolina, and occasional out of state travel is required.

Housing Foundation Director (REPOST)
NC REALTORS® is accepting applications for the position of Housing Foundation Director. The Foundation Director is responsible for the day-to-day management of the NC REALTORS® Housing Foundation – a 501(c)3 public charity. This position implements member and community outreach initiatives including those for disaster relief, financial literacy and housing affordability. Candidates with strong communication skills and credentials in program management, volunteer and board relations, development and communication are encouraged to apply for this exciting position in Greensboro, NC.

Regional Government Affairs Director (GAD) – Coastal NC
NC REALTORS is seeking a dynamic Regional Government Affairs Director (GAD) to join our field team. The Regional GAD coordinates member-driven advocacy services for REALTORS and their local associations. In this role, you will facilitate local fundraising efforts for the REALTOR Political Action Committee and assist local associations with grassroots coordination and community engagement projects, all while serving as a conduit of information about federal and state legislative priorities from NAR and our Raleigh advocacy team.
This position is responsible for developing strong relationships with REALTOR members and empowering them to take part in the advocacy work of the local, state, and national REALTOR associations. If you want to serve members and play a role on an established and successful advocacy team, this could be the role for you.
The Regional GAD serves seven REALTOR Associations on the coast of North Carolina. A map of the region served is available upon request.
The successful candidate will have two or more years’ relevant experience:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year institution is required. Reliable transportation for daily travel throughout assigned region is mandatory.
