Live Series Courses

Live Series Courses (32 hours) 

There are four live courses that are required for the GRI designation. These classes are offered throughout the year and are hosted by local associations throughout the state.

  • GRI 101:  ABC’s of Financing
  • GRI 102:  Business Risks and Ethics
  • GRI 103:  Business Planning
  • GRI 104:  Technology Tools & Resources

Online Series Courses

Online Series Courses (16 hours) 

There are four online courses that are required for the GRI designation. Online classes are available for immediate registration and must be completed within 45 days.

  • GRI 201:  Mastering Real Estate Negotiations
  • GRI 202:  Meeting the Needs of Buyers and Sellers
  • GRI 203:  Successful Buyer Client Systems
  • GRI 204:  Successful Seller Client Systems

Elective Credit Track(s)

Elective Credit Track(s) 

The elective credits of the program can be completed in a variety of ways. Students can fulfill this requirement by completing 12 credits using one or a combination of the options listed below..

Example:

+ 4 hours   for completing online course “Real Estate Investing Made Clear”
+ 4 hours   for submitting proof of RSPS® designation obtained two years ago
+ 4 hours   for attending the NC REALTORS® Annual Convention & Expo
12 hours     Elective hours completed

If you have successfully completed any of the REBAC Designations below, you may submit proof of completion for GRI elective credit using the NAR Designation/Certification Completion form.

  • Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®)
  • Accredited Buyer Representative Manager (ABRM)
  • Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM)
  • Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS®)
  • Certified Property Manager (CPM®)
  • Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB)
  • Certified Residential Specialist® (CRS®)
  • Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS® (SIOR®)

Transaction Credit

Transaction Credit

If you have transactions where you are listed as the buying or selling agent, you may submit them as elective credit using the Transaction Completion form.

1 transaction = 2 hours of elective credit. Up to six transactions can be submitted totaling 12 hours.

NC REALTORS® Convention & Expo

Attend NC REALTORS® Annual Convention & Expo while enrolled in the GRI program and earn four hours of elective GRI credit.
