Why I love what I do: We get to help people make their lives better by becoming homeowners.
Favorite work story: My introduction to real estate politics was being thrusted into a battle against a new county tax on the sale of property. Months later, after dozens of forums, debates, interviews and a very expensive media campaign, we crushed the impact fee at the ballot box. It’s the only time our county voters haven’t supported a new tax.
What I’m most proud of in my career: Involvment as Chair of the NCR Legislative Committee advocating property owners, our Realtors®, and the real estate industry.
Why I’m a member of NC REALTORS®: We are stronger when we work together.
Fun Fact: Real estate is my third career. I started as a Mad Man in the advertising business, then owned a bakery. This work seems calm in comparison.
