Being able to help people find their home sweet home

Becoming 2016 President

What were the greatest challenges you faced in the industry?

The low inventory of the current market. Buyers are frustrated with trying to find a home, having to spend way over list price, thinking sellers are being greedy or not preparing their home for sale, and losing money over repairs.

Have you been inspired by other NC REALTOR® women throughout the years? Please name them here and briefly describe how they have impacted you, the industry or the association.

Deb Hays and Cathy Carpenter as Convention chairs. They made me feel welcome and excited to come back.

Cindy Chandler at her Inaugural. What she said inspired me to get involved. She speaks her mind but is willing to listen.

Sandra O’Connor has a big heart, is smart and always says hello. Despite bumps in the road, she persevered and stayed engaged (when many walked away).
