Live Courses

We are now offering a mix of in-person and virtual courses. A computer, laptop, or tablet may be used to access the virtual courses. There is no cost to use Zoom. *A webcam/camera is required to receive course credit.

Ombudsman Training Feature Image

Virtual | 2022 Ombudsman Training

Ombudsmen is an informal dispute resolution vehicle that keeps lines of communication open between REALTORS®, REALTORS® and their clients and REALTORS® and other real estate professionals.  Typically performed over the phone, the Ombudsmen will assist parties to rectify situations before they spin out of control.

NC REALTORS® has developed a training program for the NAR-required Ombudsman Program.  Many ethics complaints may be averted with enhanced communications and initial problem-solving capacity at the local level.  Through this training, participants will learn ombudsman procedures that are intended to provide that capacity and, as a result, potentially reduce the number of complaints received by an association.

This is a 1/2 day virtual training program and is complimentary to NC REALTORS®.


Road To The Perfect Contract Feature Image

The Road to the Perfect Contract is a class that every broker will benefit from!  This course will decipher the many parts of the Buyer Agency Agreement and the Offer to Purchase and Contract.  You’ll walk out with the full understanding of the requirements of proper representation, tips on how to avoid miscommunication when entering into a Buyer Agency Agreement, utilize forms properly, and establish a working relationship with an unrepresented seller.

Even REALTORS® who are committed to high standards of conduct occasionally have honest business disputes with other professionals, clients or customers. By attending NC REALTORS® Mediation Training you will learn important mediation techniques and skills to assist you in mediating disputes. This training focuses on the REALTOR® Mediation Model and will teach you how to assist in solving disputes within the REALTOR® organization, the workplace, with agents, clients, your family and more.

Because of the intense nature of this training, seating will be limited to 45 students.

This is a 3-day virtual learning program.  The fee for this training is $50.
