NC REALTORS® honors several members during its Annual Convention

Greensboro, North Carolina (September 18, 2017) – NC REALTORS® is thrilled to announce multiple members were presented with achievement awards during the annual 2017 Convention at The Omni Grove Park Inn earlier today. Recognition included the 2017 REALTOR® of the Year recipient, graduates of the 2017 NC REALTORS® William C. Bass Leadership Academy, an NC REALTORS® Hall of Fame inductee, the 2017 REALTOR® Innovation & Entrepreneurial Excellence Award recipient, and multiple service awards from across the state.

The NC REALTORS® William C. Bass Leadership Academy class of 2017 was honored in a special graduation ceremony and included:


Guy McCookGuy McCook of Laurinburg was inducted into NC REALTORS® Hall of Fame. The award was established in 1990 to honor outstanding REALTORS® who contributed outstanding services to the real estate profession through development, environment, government and leadership.

NC REALTORS® is also recognizing the honorees of the Rising Star award, which is awarded by the members’ respective Associations. The purpose of the award is to recognize members who have been REALTORS® for five years or less and who have provided exemplary service to the local board while exhibiting strong leadership potential.
