NAR’s Green Designation Course: People, Property, Planet, Prosperity covers the distinguishing characteristics that make a high-performance home. The course looks at how consumer demand for these homes is increasing and & provides a detailed accounting of how high-performance features work. The course prepares real estate professionals to provide advice and sources of information to help homeowners improve the performance of their homes—from low-cost fixes and DIY projects, to retrofitting and replacing systems, to big budget remodeling projects and new constructions. Ultimately, this course will show you how to apply green knowledge to enhance your business while also helping to create a more sustainable, healthy world.

Mary Love

Mary Love has been living and teaching the Green Life for so long she is affectionately called the “Grandmother of Green”. Her love for nature and sustainability naturally developed from growing up on a farm.

Mary is an education enthusiast; she has a Master’s in Administration and Supervision and a Master’s in Environmental Science. She has been certified in the following areas: NAR GREEN, SRES, Workforce Housing Specialist, Accredited Land Consultants ECO Agent, Build Green Real Estate Agent, Home Energy Star Rater, Building Professional Institute Rater, System Visions Rater, NC Green Homes Rater.

Mary has worked as a real estate and green consultant with numerous organizations.  She has helped create certification programs, workshops, and CE, as well as sustainable building projects.

Today, Mary is the BIC of her real estate company, Love The Green, and her property management company, Town Mountain Properties. She provides consultation services to builders, developers, Realtors, and investors through her Mary Love Consulting Firm.
