Nadia Evangelou is Senior Economist and Director of Real Estate Research at the National Association of REALTORS®. Her research focuses on the effect of economic, demographic and industry conditions on the current state and outlook of the residential and commercial real estate markets. Nadia oversees the production of NAR’s proprietary housing market data, including NAR’s monthly existing and pending home sales indices, housing affordability and quarterly local market reports. She also manages policy research, leading research projects on topics including how federal, state and local policies impact the real estate market. Her research and insights have been featured by major media outlets. In 2022, Nadia was named one of the Housing Wire’s 2022 Rising Stars.
Nadia holds a master’s degree in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University, as well as advanced degrees in International European Economics and Public Administration.
