Barnette Seminars and Real Estate School

Chris began his real estate teaching career on January 10, 2005, with HPW Real Estate School under the guidance of Tom Mangum and Kim Frye. After that first class, Chris knew that he had found his place in the real estate industry as teaching became a passion.

With experience in general brokerage, new home sales, property management, and investment, he has shared his stories from the field to help agents navigate the exciting yet often challenging business of real estate.

Chris later founded the Go School of Real Estate, which today stands as one of the top schools in North Carolina. Over the years, Chris has learned from luminaries in NC real estate education, including Tom Mangum, George Bell, and Bill Gallagher, among others. From this group, he has learned that real estate education can be entertaining and educational, instructors can be kind and informative, and competence is a goal worth striving for.

Currently, Chris serves as Broker in Charge of a real estate office in Apex, and he and his wife, Lisa, operate Barnette Seminars and Real Estate School.
