North Carolina housing statistics continue their recent trends. While inventory increased over March, it continues to be lower than last year. Sales are also off both from last month and last year. However, demand remains strong, as reflected in yet another month that housing prices increased. Until we have substantial gains in housing supply, we can expect the cost of housing to continue to escalate.
