AHWD is an NAR certification program designed to present a picture of the changing face of the real estate industry. The At Home with Diversity course addresses the topics of diversity, fair housing and business planning development. After successfully completing the course, REALTORS® are eligible to apply for the official AHWD certification, which conveys to clients they’re working with a dynamic real estate professional with expertise that transcends cultural barriers. This class provides the following credit: 4 hours of CE & NAR’s Fair Housing Requirement
RRAR and Durham Association Member Registration: $60 (Includes CE)
Other Member Registration: $75 (Includes CE)
Audit Registration (for those that have the certification and just want CE hours): $25 (Includes CE)

Tikola McCree is a dedicated real estate professional with North Group Real Estate in the Greater Charlotte Area and a proud soccer mom to her 16-year-old son. With nearly two decades in education, she has trained young artists and scholars, shaping her passion for mentorship and community empowerment.
A graduate of Rutgers University and Sarah Lawrence College, Tikola holds certifications in administration, special education, and movement for students with disabilities. She actively champions fair housing and diversity, serving as the 2024 Chair of the NC REALTORS® Diversity Committee, 2025 Vice Chair and 2026 Chair of the NAR Fair Housing Policy Committee, and President of the Charlotte Crown REALTIST Association (2022-2024). She also serves on the Canopy MLS Board of Directors and is part of NAR’s 2024 Leadership Academy.

Cancellations: Cancellations may be processed online and will be accepted up to one (1) business day preceding each course. Course registration less a cancellation fee may apply. Refunds will not be granted to no-shows or last minute cancellations.
To cancel a class: Login to the NC REALTORS® website. Find your class under “Upcoming Events” on the Member Dashboard or by locating the class you want to cancel on the NC REALTORS® calendar. Under registration details, you will see an option to “Cancel”. On the following page, select “Submit Cancellation”.
NCR reserves the right to cancel/change any course at any time. If a course is canceled, you will be notified as soon as possible. You will receive either a full refund or, if rescheduled, you may transfer to the new date. NCR is not responsible for any out-of-pocket expenses (lodging, airfare, etc.) you may incur when a course is canceled or rescheduled.
